        Computational thinking fosters problem-solving, logic, and creativity. Further, technological advancements are transforming every industry on the planet. With this, today's students should learn how to use and create technology. If they start early, they will have a solid foundation for the success in any 21st-century career path. 

        This year's Hour of Code theme is #CSEverywhere where students and teachers are encouraged to investigate the relationship between computer science and various subjects in school, industries, and even career paths. 

The sessions will be recorded, and participants have an option to attend the event asynchronously.
The certificates of participation will be provided through the DepEd Professional Development Learning Management System (PD-LMS). An evaluation link will also be provided for the improvement of future webinars.

Level Up Synchronous Learning Through Classpoint

The Information and Communications Technology Service - Educational Technology Unit (ICTS-EdTech) will conduct a webinar session for public and private school teachers on the integration of Classpoint to Microsoft PowerPoint, which can be of help while conducting synchronous learning and virtual meetings.


The webinar aims to:

1. Equip teachers with a tool for the new normal classroom.

2. Enable teachers in engaging with students online by using only ClassPoint and PowerPoint.

3. Enable every teacher to design and run live classroom quizzes directly from Microsoft PowerPoint.


The webinar session will be conducted on October 16, 2021, 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.  This activity offers open registration for interested participants. The session will be aired on the following social media accounts:

1. feature success stories of frontline heroes who continue to innovate, impact, and inspire the education sphere and community;
2. highlight free programs that teachers and learners can participate in; and
