GENERATION PATTERNS

MATHEMATICS 10, GENERAL PATTERNS (GADINGAN)
In this course, students will explore the fundamental concepts of generating and identifying patterns in mathematics. The focus will be on recognizing various types of patterns, including arithmetic and geometric sequences, and applying them to solve real-world problems. Through interactive lessons and activities, students will develop a deeper understanding of how patterns emerge in numbers, shapes, and functions. The course will also introduce the concepts of generalization, prediction, and algebraic expressions to describe and extend patterns.
Key topics include:
- Identifying and extending number sequences (e.g., arithmetic and geometric sequences)
- Using algebra to represent and analyze patterns
- Real-world applications of patterns in nature, art, and technology
- Mathematical induction and recursion as tools for pattern generation
By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze patterns, solve problems using pattern-based strategies, and apply these concepts in various mathematical contexts.

Empowerment Technologies
Quarter 2 – Module 1: The Nature and Purposes of Online Platforms and Applications
Basic principles of graphics and layout include balance, emphasis, movement, pattern, repetition and rhythm, proportion, and variety. Balance deals with the visual weight of objects, texture, colors, and space. Emphasis is the area designed to attract the viewer’s attention. Movement guides the viewer’s eye around the screen. Pattern, repetition, and rhythm are visual elements that are repeated to create unity in the layout of the image. Proportion includes visual elements that create a sense of unity where they relate well with one another. Lastly, the various use of several design elements to draw the viewer’s attention.
Online Platform is technologies that are grouped to be used as a base upon which other applications processes or technologies are developed some of the examples of an online platform are Presentation/Visualization, Cloud Computing, Social Media, Web Page Creation, File Management and Mapping.
